Embry Realty Co. 1956
In the mid to late fifties the Embry family bought three large tracts near Chamblee which they named Embry Hills. It included shopping, office, commercial, multi-family and single family homes with swim and tennis. Embry Hills was among the first of many planned communities built following the Second World War in DeKalb County.
Welcome to Embry Hills
The Embry Hills boulder, installed in 2020 to replace the prior sign destroyed by an automobile accident, stands at the intersection of Embry Circle and Chamblee Tucker Road, marking the epicenter of the Embry Hills neighborhood.
Neighborhood Recognition
The Embry Hills sign toppers mark the main streets and intersections of the Embry Hills neighborhood. This project, started in 2020 and recently completed, welcomes all who visit our neighborhood.
